Please be informed that the International Youth Video Contest 2018 on Climate Change has been announced. The UN considers the role of young people in the fight against climate change important. The competition, initiated by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and its partners, has been running since 2015 and aims to share information on innovative and ambitious ways of combating climate change proposed by young people. The competition gives young people the opportunity to demonstrate ways to solve the problem and help raise environmental awareness.
Interested young people from 18 to 30 years old have the opportunity to participate in the competition by sending a video of no more than 3 (three) minutes on two topics:
1) Sustainable consumption and production
2) Green and climate-friendly works
Interested parties should upload the video to www.biomovies.tve.org no later than August 31,
The winner will travel to Poland for the 24th Conference of the Parties to the UN Climate Change Framework Convention in December this year.
