The Eiec announces ‘’The Green Award’’ Contest

 

The EIEC announces a "Green Award" contest to identify the best educator/methodologist and elementary school teachers (grades 1-6) throughout the 2022-2023 school year across Georgia.

The Green Award contest is open to any primary school teacher, as well as a kindergarten educator/methodologist currently employed in an educational institution, teaching environmental and/or agrarian topics in both formal and non-formal education, and conducting relevant activities. Environmental and Agrarian Education in Schools and "Preschool Environmental Education."



The contest's goal is to encourage teachers to teach about environmental and agricultural topics while also allowing them to share best practices.

The application date is March 20, 2023.

On June 5, World Environment Day, the winner will be announced.



There will be two stages of the competition:

1. Application selection
2. Presentation of implemented activities/projects


According to the results of both stages, a special commission will reveal the top ten, from which the winning teacher and educator/methodologist will be awarded the "Green Award."

To participate in the competition, fill in the relevant application form (in word format) electronically and, if you wish, send us photos / videos of your activities (in one folder). The video length should not exceed 10 minutes.
