The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia announces the ‘’Green Award Contest’’

The Eiec announces the Green Award Contest’’ to identify the best educator/methodologist and elementary school teachers (grades 1-6) throughout the 2021-2022 school year across Georgia.  

The ''Green Award contest'' is open to any primary school teacher, as well as a kindergarten educator/methodologist currently employed in an educational institution, teaching environmental and/or agrarian topics in both formal and non-formal education, and conducting relevant activities.  Environmental and Agrarian Education in Schools and "Preschool Environmental Education." 

The aim of the contest  is to motivate teachers to teach about environmental and agrarian issues and to enable them to share best practices.
The deadline for applications is March 20, 2022.

The winner will be announced on World Environment Day, June 5.

The contest  will be held in 2 stages:
1. Application selection
2. Presentation of implemented activities/projects

According to the results of both stages, a special commission will reveal the top ten, from which the winning teacher and educator/methodologist will be awarded the "Green Award."

To participate in the contest,please  fill in the relevant application form (in word format) online and, if you wish, send us photos or videos of your activities (in one folder). The video length should not exceed 10 minutes.
