Public discussion on the draft management plans for the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve and the Lagodekhi Forest under the management of the Protected Areas Agency

A public hearing of the management plans for the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve and the Lagodekhi Protected Forest will be conducted at the Lagodekhi Protected Areas Administration (Lagodekhi, Vashlovani st.N197)

The preparation of draft forest management plans is funded by the State Budget and within the framework of the European Union (EU) "Improving Rural Development in Georgia" (IRDG) project (ENPARD III) and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

In 2022, the inventory works of the Lagodekhi nature reserve and the protected forest of Lagodekhi were carried out by the company that won the tender-Remote Sensing and Geoinformation Systems Consulting Centre Geografik LLC.

The company submitted the following documents to the lepl Agency of Protected Areas:

 * Projects of the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve and Lagodekhi Forest Management Plans:

 * total tables and projected events;

 * tax descriptions;

 * cartographic materials.
