Acceptance of students at the Eco Leader School is starting again!

If you are a student interested in environmental issues, you often participate in environmental projects and activities, or you have the desire but so far have not been able to get involved in projects that are interesting to you, then this opportunity is for you, and you should definitely use it. 
We are looking for young, motivated, and interested individuals in environmental topics who will take part in the School of Eco Leaders and deepen their knowledge in a significant direction for environmental protection. 

In order to take part in Eco Leader School, you need:
1. to be an IX-XII grades student 
2. Environmental protection must be your interest
3. to be able to spare 4 hours a week for our meetings;
4. to have access to the Internet;

Participants will be selected based on interviews and applications.
Please keep in mind that the meetings will be held remotely every Monday and Wednesday at 16:00 during the months of May and June. 

The School of ECO LEADERS will be conducted via the ZOOM platform. 
We promise interactive and interesting webinars 
Within school, the participants will be acquainted with environmental issues, as well as develop the abilities of critical thinking, teamwork, and defending their opinions.
And most importantly, you will make friends from all over the country.

The program will be covered the following topics.
●When and where was the environmental movement ''The Environment and Georgia'' implemented? 
● the human rights environment
● the importance of waste management and existing good practices
● communication and presentation skills
● the importance of biodiversity and protection mechanisms
● The importance of protected areas
● The urban biodiversity and eco-activism
● Birds and their role in the environment
● Gender and environmental protection
● The climate change
● Reducing the risks of climate-driven disasters 
●(DRR)
●The role of environmental education and public relations in environmental protection
● introducing the presentation

Various approaches will be used while learning:

✔ discussing the real examples 
✔The role-playing games
✔ discussions 
✔The interesting guests
✔The field trips 
✔visits
✔ After completing the learning you will be given the certificates and will become frIends with EIEC.

✅  Please take into consideration, the ECO LEADER status will be given to the student who will attend the lectures regularly. Only three absences will be counted as honorable.
