Acceptance of comments/opinions on the "Green Book" of the Climate Change Law continues by May 31.
The Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, in collaboration with the EIEC, with the support of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and the United Kingdom, prepared the "Green Book" of the Georgia Climate Change Law. The "Green Book"'s aim is to start a widespread public discussion and consultation for the development of Georgia's Climate Change Law. It will explain many problems that can be taken into account in the proposed Climate Change Law.~
The "Green Book" of the Climate Change Law includes the international obligations undertaken by Georgia, the existing national policy, the analysis of the impact of climate change on Georgia, future risks, and international examples of the climate law.

The national consultation regarding the "Green Book" has been held in Telavi, and it is planned to hold consultations in Kutaisi and Tbilisi.
