A public discussion of the Tbilisi National Park Management Plan project will be held in Tbilisi on May 22, 2023, at 11:00 (the address is Chavchavadze Ave. N37, Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers Hotel).

The development and updating of the Tbilisi National Park Management Plan Project were carried out by the Agency of Protected Areas and the Tbilisi National Park Administration with the participation of the local population, non-governmental organizations, local self-government, and other relevant stakeholders. The management plan was developed by the United Nations Development Programme within the UNDP project "Strengthening the Management System of Sustainable Development and Protected Areas".

The management plan was developed in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Georgia "On the System of Protected Areas" and the regulation "On the stages and procedures of preparation of the methodology for the development of the structure, content, and thematic parts of the management plan of the protected areas," approved by the order of the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia dated March 12, 2014, N110. The goal of the management plan is to set long-term goals for Tbilisi National Park and determine the necessary measures to achieve these goals.

After the public review of the document, comments and recommendations provided by stakeholders will be considered in the final version of the document in accordance with the law.
