THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION AND EDUCATION CENTER OFFERS AN UPDATED PROGRAM WITHIN THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR TO STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ENVIRONMENTAL AND AGRARIAN TOPICS

The EIEC, within the updated academic year, offers a renewed program to students interested in agricultural issues. The aim of lectures, training, and information tours is to raise awareness through interesting practical activities and group work.

The EIEC gives interested students the opportunity to attend lectures and training for free:

Young people are given the opportunity to learn about the activities of the agencies included in the system of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and to take part in the laboratory research processes of various samples.
 Information tours can be planned for the following issues:

· Laboratory research on soils and different samples
· Radiation safety and the process of measuring background radiation with radiation dosimeters
Observation of meteorological, hydrometeorological, and geological processes; familiarisation with electronic maps
· Processes for laboratory studies of water and air samples
Visiting the wine museum
· Tbilisi National Park: biodiversity and management issues
· National Wildlife Agency
· Business trial demonstration based on annual cultures
