PARTICIPANT ACCEPTANCE TO "FORESTRY SCHOOL" BEGINS!

If you are an IX-XII class student interested in the forestry profession, the system of forest management, and biodiversity, then this program is for you.

We are looking for positive and full-of-energy people who are interested in all of the forest topics. 

for taking part in forestry school is required: 
to be an IX-XII class student 
to be interested in forestry issues 
to be able to spend four hours a week with us and to have access to the internet

Please take into consideration that the forestry school class learning process will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00:p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Within the program, the students will become acquainted with the forest topics, develop the skills of critical thinking, teamwork, defending their own opinions, and most importantly, make friends all over the country.

✅Georgian forests and their importance at the global level
✅The role of forest in achieving forest sustainable development
✅Biodiversity of forests
✅Climate change and its influence on the forest and natural hazards
✅ Forest fires

✅ Energy efficiency, alternative fuels as an attempt to reduce the pressure of the forest 
✅Protected areas, ecotourism
✅ Forest monitoring and law enforcement mechanisms, deforestation accounting.
✅Profession of the forester, forest education, employment sectors.
✅Media literacy

 Various approaches will be used during the learning process
✅ Discussion of the real examples
✅Games
✅Discussions
✅ Interesting guests
✅ Field trips
✅Visits

After finishing the learning process you will receive certificates and memory gifts, become friends with EIEC, and be involved in the center's activities.

✅Please take into account that the status of the student in the forestry school will be granted only to the participant who regularly attends the lectures. Only two absences will be counted as honorable.
