Admission of students to Agro School begins!

This program is for you if you are a student who is interested in agricultural subjects, wants to learn about agricultural development, and wants to be involved in agricultural activities.

The Agroschool seeks to advance the agricultural vocations that are currently in existence.

IX-XII grade students have the opportunity to study in the agricultural school.
● interested in agriculture;
● can devote 4 hours a week to our meetings;
● has access to the Internet.

The studies at the agricultural school will start on November 14. Meetings will be held online every Tuesday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Within the school, the participants will learn about agricultural topics, develop the ability to think critically, defend their own opinions, and work in a team, and most importantly, they will make friends from all over the country.

Within the program, you will gain information on the following topics:
● Development of agriculture
● Agriculture Today/Farmer Opportunities
● Existing programs in the field of agriculture
● Farm management
● Wine history and tasting
● Georgian grape varieties and the history of finding and protecting wild vines in Georgia
● Gardening
● Georgian traditional beekeeping
● Aquaculture and fisheries
● Veterinary medicine and especially dangerous infectious diseases of animals
● Animal husbandry and poultry farming
● Biological farming
● Basic knowledge
● Desertification and overgrazing
● Food safety
● Climate-smart agriculture
● The role of education in the agricultural sector
● Agrotourism

A variety of approaches will be used in teaching, namely:
✅Discuss actual cases
✅Role-playing games
✅Discussions
✅Interesting guests
✅Field trip to the greenhouse
✅A visit to the State Laboratory of Agriculture and the National Wine Agency

Certificates and commemorative gifts will be given to you after the completion of your studies.

Please note that the status of an Agroschool student will be granted only to the participant who regularly attends the lectures. Only three absences will be counted as honorable.
