Public hearing of the draft management plan for the Ajamet Managed Reserve

A public discussion of the draft management plan for the Ajameti forest will be held at the Agency of Protected Areas (address: Vladimir Tsitlanadze 1) on November 1, 2023, at 12:00.

The draft management plan for the Ajameti managed reserve was created in accordance with the grant agreement made between the governments of Georgia and the Kingdom of Sweden, with funding provided by the Swedish International Development Agency's (SIDA) project "Save Nature, Georgia".

The document was prepared by the team of national consultants of the non-governmental organization "Ekoton", with the participation of the Agency of Protected Areas, the Administration of Adjameti, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders.

The goal of the management plan is to define the long-term objectives and appropriate management approaches for the protected areas.

Notes can also be submitted in electronic form.

After the public review of the document, comments and recommendations provided by interested parties will be reflected in the final version of the document as much as possible.
