On January 24, at 9:30 a.m., the seminar on "Formulation and Implementation of Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Projects in Georgia" will be held.
It is possible to attend the meeting in an online format. The meeting can be attended virtually at this link: https://zoom.us/j/91461141521?pwd=OTZkR1VsSEs0eEpKMGZSTndMOXNCQT09#success.
The Georgian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Japanese Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the consulting firm PADECO Co., Ltd. are organizing the seminar.
As you are aware, Georgia and Japan are actively collaborating to establish the "Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM)" of the emission trading scheme, which aims to disseminate cutting-edge decarbonization technologies, infrastructure, systems, services, and products.
Accordingly, the seminar aims to review JCM and introduce successful projects implemented under this scheme. In addition, representatives of the private sector and other stakeholders will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical information about the implementation of JCM.
