Environmental and Agricultural Contests

Create a climate-friendly kindergarten

The EIEC announces a contest for preschool institutions. The contest is announced within the program "Reducing the risk of climate-driven disasters in Georgia", funded by the Government of Georgia, the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the governments of Sweden (SIDA) and Switzerland (SDC) and is implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The goal of the contest is to raise awareness of environmental topics among the representatives of the preschool education institution.

The contest is open to the target municipalities: Lagodekhi, Sighnaghi, Akhmeta, Telavi, Gori, Samtredia, Abasha, Senak, Khobi, Chokhatauri, Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti, and Kobuleti.

The submitted application should include the developed educational activities (goal, description, and the activity result) and documentation confirming their implementation (photo-video material (no more than 5 minutes). The program must include theoretical and practical training and cover at least one of the following topics:

● Climate change
● Reducing the risk of climate-driven disasters
● Waste management
● Climate-smart agriculture

Within the framework of the contest, the applicants must present program/activities by the 10th of November

Winners must implement presented program activities and will be awarded with gift cards for technic.
