Create climate-friendly gardening in 2024

The EIEC announces a contest for preschool institutions. The contest is announced within the program "Reducing the risk of climate-driven disasters in Georgia"  The program is funded by the government of Georgia, the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the governments of Switzerland and Sweden, and the implementation of the program is ensured by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The purpose of the contest is to raise awareness of environmental issues for the representatives of the preschool education institution.

Municipal preschools operating throughout Georgia can take part in the contest.

The submitted application should include the developed educational activities (purpose, description, and result of the activity) and documentation confirming their implementation (photo-video material (no more than 5 minutes)). The program must consist of theoretical and practical training and cover at least one of the following topics:

● Climate change
● Reducing the climate-driven disasters in Georgia
● Waste management
● Climate-smart agriculture.

The contest will be held in three stages:

Stage I: presentation of activities included in the program (October 14)

Stage II: implementation and presentation of activities (November 18)

stage III: Interview
