The training course - "Environmental Manager" has been completed

The training course - "Environmental Manager" has been completed at the Environmental Information and Education Centre of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
According to the Waste Management Code, companies that generate per year more than 200 tons of non-hazardous waste, more than 1000 tons of inert waste or any amount of hazardous waste, must have a person responsible for waste management - environmental manager.

The training course provides the teaching for the private sector of all responsibilities in the field of waste management and includes both theoretical and practical training to facilitate reporting in the waste management electronic system.

Candidates nominated by the legal entities, as well as any interested person can participate in the training course initiated by the Environmental Information and Education Centre. The program, led by field professionals with many years of experience, allows companies to have staff trained in accordance with legal requirements and modern standards.

The Environmental Information and Education Centre has trained a total of 430 people, most of whom (80%) are employed as environmental managers.
