Representatives of the Borjomi Youth Centre visited the Environmental Information and Education Centre of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. During the meeting, the centre guests attended a lecture from the staff of the National Forest Agency on the importance of biodiversity, got acquainted with the ongoing or ongoing measures to restore the forest in Borjomi after the fire, and learned about the problems in the Borjomi forest.
The second part of the meeting emphasised the importance of education and public awareness in addressing environmental issues.
The EIEC continues to work actively to promote environmental education, raise awareness and will hold meetings for interested communities in the future.
