Discussion of the policy document ,,the Strategy and Action Plan of Education for Sustainable Devel

LEPL “Environmental Information and Education Centre” organized a presentation for the interested people of 
the policy document "the Strategy and Action Plan of Education for Sustainable Development". 

Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Nino Tandilashvili addressed to the participants of the meeting and spoke about the role of environmental education to reach sustainable development in the global and national context. 

The meeting was attended by representatives of Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, departments of Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Natural Resources and Education, Science and Culture Committees.

During the meeting, Director of the Environmental Information and Education Centre Tamar Aladashvili presented the document to the attendees and the project expert Tea Siprashvili introduced the action plan of the strategy to them.

Participants of the meeting expressed their opinions and comments regarding the above-mentioned document and agreed on future cooperation. 

The policy document "Strategy and Action Plan of Education for Sustainable Development'' is implemented by the Environmental Information and Education Centre with the financial support of GIZ.
