Informational meeting with the Waldorf School students

The Environmental Information and Education Centre held an informational meeting with the Waldorf School students.

The head of the Service of Ambient Air Protection of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture Noe Megrelishvili met the students and spoke to them about the importance and history of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. The students also heard a presentation concerning the ozone layer, the current situation and achieved results of Georgia in this direction.

During the meeting the students got the information concerning the new contest of the centre that is supported by UNDP within the project ,,Strengthening Institutional Capacity to Promote Implementation of the Montreal Protocol'' and is dedicated to the celebration of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer with the slogan - ,,Protect the Ozone Layer- Protect the Earth’’. School Students of VII-XII classes, as well as University students and video graphic artists can participate in the contest.
