Wheat training was held in Dedoplistskaro

Together with the Rural and Agricultural Development Agency, the LEPL EIEC of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia is implementing a project to support farmers throughout Georgia, which includes training on various topics for farmers. 

Within the framework of the Farmers Support Project, Tsotne Samadashvili, Head of the Cereal Crops Research Service of the Agricultural Research Centre of the Ministry in Dedoplistskaro Municipality, introduced the use of new technologies and the introduction of new technologies for cereals to farmers.

The training was conducted in an interactive mode. Farmers received comprehensive answers to their interesting questions. The training participants shared their experience of soil levelling before wheat sowing, as well as air spraying of plots, and focused on issues that are a priority for them in the municipalities.

The trainings were held in all eight municipalities of Kakheti, where 123 farmers participated.

The EIEC has completed training on "Modern technologies for high quality and solid wheat harvesting" in the Kakheti region. The centre continues to carry out various agrarian and environmental activities. Training and retraining courses on walnut crops and beekeeping are planned to be held in Samegrelo-Zemo, Svaneti and Imereti.
