Training course on wheat culture in Kakheti

The Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC) of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA) in cooperation with the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency implements the project supporting farmers all over the country. The project is meant to hold training courses on various topics for farmers and aims to strengthen their capacities.

Within the framework of the project supporting farmers, trainings - “High Quality and Solid Wheat Harvesting Modern Technologies” have been held in Kakheti Region, namely in Gurjaani, Lagodekhi and Akhmeta municipalities.

During the training course, the main attention was given to such important topics as the quality of wheat in the country, modern wheat production technologies and harvest accommodation. Farmers have got fluent answers for their questions.

EIEC conducts various environmental and agricultural activities across the whole country.
