Environmental and agricultural webinars for pupils are underway

As a nationwide effort, the Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC) successfully embarks on a journey for engaging diverse age groups of pupils to environmental and agricultural webinars: waste management, history of the planet, soil degradation, humans’ environmental rights, sustainable development, history of the Georgian wine. Apart from the EIEC team, the lectures enjoy participation of expert engagement from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA).

A total number of attendees within the seminars has numbered to 201.

The EIEC team has cultivated non-formal education as a crucial effort for promoting and enhancing agricultural education and awareness raising initiatives. Amidst the turmoil of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the EIEC has successfully paved a path, similar to other educational institutions, for switching to remote instruction mode, thus offering online webinars to any pupil.
