Head of educational programs division at the LEPL Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC), Mr Lasha Lobzhanidze has been invited to Brussels, by the European Commission, to attend a meeting for Eastern Partnership countries – hosted by the Directorate-General for Climate Action. The core objective of the meeting has been establishing a platform for sharing expertise on environmental education efforts, as well as deepen future cooperation prospects.
In the course of the meeting, Mr Lobzhanidze briefed on educational efforts on environment delivered by the LEPL Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC) under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA) for raising awareness on climate change, as well as programs/projects commenced and outcomes drawn.
