The LEPL Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC) under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA) hosted a training “environmental education for educational institutions” at the village Ditsi, nearby the ABL. Pupils from the Ditsi, Arbo, Mereti and Karbi schools and pre-school institutions attended the training.
Head of the EIEC, Ms Tamar Aladashvili spoke to the attendees on the importance of environmental education. The core aspect of these meetings was to host training on environmental matters, thus Ms Aladashvili briefed dwellers of the villages nearby the ABL on the importance of implementing environmental programming through meaningful engagement of them, which will surely result into future cooperation.
The LEPL Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC) under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA) will continue conducting the trainings and educational initiatives for the dwellers nearby the ABL and their respective educational institutions.
