A public debate of Georgia's draft law on the creation and management of the Nugzar Zazanashvili Samukhi Multi-Use Area will be held on January 28, 2022, at 15:00.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia has completed the work on the draft law of Georgia on the establishment and management of the Nugzar Zazanashvili Samukhi Multipurpose Use Area.
With the support of the World Wide Fund for Nature, work on the bill began in 2019. (WWF).
The Samukhi Valley is Georgia's only gazelle habitat. As a result, the construction of Samukh Planned Protected Areas is critical for biodiversity conservation at the regional, national, and transboundary levels, as well as the emerald network and specific protected areas.
