The EIEC is holding a photo contest called "Biodiversity in My Lens"

The EIEC is holding a photo contest called "Biodiversity in my Lens" in honor of the International Day of Biodiversity. The contest's major purpose is to promote wildlife photography in order to educate and develop public awareness of our natural heritage, including natural ecosystems, habitats, wildlife, and flora and fauna species.

The contest  is open to both professional and amateur photographers.

Conditions of participation in the contest:

Participants are encouraged to submit at least one to three images showcasing Georgia's biodiversity or practical actions to maintain and protect biodiversity.

The snapshot must be accompanied by the location and time of the photo, as well as a brief description about your vision of the photo. 

Technical requirements and evaluation criteria:

* Relevance to the topic

* Composition

* Creativity

At least 1,600 pixels must be in JPEG format (.jpg or .jpeg). The file size must not exceed 5 megabytes.

Finalists will at some point be required to submit original photo RAW or JPEG files for verification. The photo must have the appropriate quality for the exhibition.

Photos may be subjected to minimal digital processing, such as sharpening, contrast, brightening, or dimming. Photos can be both in color and black and white.

The jury will select the winning contestants based on the above criteria. Additionally, the received images will be posted on the EIEC's Facebook page, where users will be able to identify another successful contestant.

The photos of the contestants are copyrighted by the participants. However, each entrant entitles the contestant to use any photo in various publications, websites, social networks, etc. copyright protection.
