Representatives from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, the EIEC, the National Environment Agency, and the National Forestry Agency met with members of a delegation from Tajikistan working on environmental issues.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the EIEC, Tamar Aladashvili. The conversation focused on Georgia's environmental education policy, forest sector management principles, and the development of environmental pollution monitoring and early warning systems.
‘’An environmental education programme is now being developed in Tajikistan. "We also shared our expertise in terms of access to environmental information and enhancing public engagement," Tamar Aladashvili said of the initiatives and programmes launched in Georgia to promote environmental education.
The meeting was attended by Tajik delegates from the Government Republic of Tajikistan's Environmental Committee, the Parliamentary Ecological Commission, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Aarhus Center.

Georgia's experience is useful for us.
