Pieces of training were held for the authors of textbooks

The EIEC of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia conducted training on environmental issues for the authors of the textbooks "Me and Society" (grades III-IV) and "Our Georgia" (grades V-VI), with the aim of correctly addressing environmental issues in school textbooks.

The training covered three environmental topics: environmental human rights and duties; protected areas in Georgia; and disaster risk reduction. Support participants were also provided with supporting manual materials.

Prior to the announcement of the textbook certification, the subject standards were revised and amended. The subject standards of the textbooks "Me and Society" (grades III-IV) and "Our Georgia" (grades V-VI) cover topics such as the environment, human rights, protected areas, natural disasters, and disaster risk reduction.
