About 900 beekeepers were trained throughout the country

During the training, the beekeepers received information about the rules of obtaining and storing quality and safe products, the identification of bee diseases, the familiarisation and implementation of methods of combating diseases, the planning and implementation of seasonal work in apiaries, and the production of an apiary journal. In the part of practical training, beekeepers were introduced to modern methods of pest control and relevant environmental measures.

The attention was focused on the issues of the importance of registration of beehives in modern beekeeping at the training.

In the training, beekeepers from all around the country took part.

The training was organised by the EIEC, the Rural Development Agency, and the Georgia Beekeepers Association.
