The "Agro-League of Colleges" contest was held in the environmental and agricultural fields in order to promote the professional education sector.
Students from vocational schools, graduates, and agricultural and environmental profile school student clubs took part in the contest. Contest topics included horticulture, beekeeping, forestry, and environmental protection.
The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Solomon Pavliashvili, awarded the winners of the "Agro-League of Colleges" contest. Certificates and gifts were given to the winners.
As Solomon Pavliashvili pointed out, the contest contributes to the development of the vocational education sector in the agricultural field and to the presentation of successful students and graduates of vocational schools with agricultural profile training programs.
The contest was implemented by the Agricultural Development Association (ADA) with the financial support of the Institute for Change and Innovation (ICI), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and the EIEC.
