The presentation of the network of school eco clubs was held

The presentation of the school ecoclub network was organised by the EIEC under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

The goal of creating a network of eco clubs is to interest young people in environmental topics and to promote their involvement.

The meeting was opened by the deputy director of the EIEC, Ekaterine Bendeliani. School teachers and students took part in the event, made presentations about the activities of eco-clubs, and discussed future plans and educational activities with the representatives of the centre.

At the event, it was noted that the EIEC will help young people create eco-clubs as much as possible and will offer relevant information and educational activities.

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden provided support for the presentation of the network within the framework of the project "Governance Reform Fund" (GRF).
