State registration of the release of harmful substances into the ambient air

According to Article 38 of the Law of Georgia "On Protection of Ambient Air" and "On Approving the Technical Regulations for Self-Monitoring and Reporting Production of Harmful Substances from Stationary Sources of Pollution", Resolution #413 of the Government of Georgia dated December 31, 2013, the National Environmental Agency of LSI conducts monitoring of the release of harmful substances into the ambient air and state accounting of pollution from stationary sources.

The state registration of the release of harmful substances is carried out according to the forms of the state registration of the release of harmful substances, which, after the end of the reporting year 2021, no later than February 15, 2022, must be filled out through the electronic system (http://emoe.gov.ge/)  and submitted for agreement. The National Environmental Agency of the LSI, and in the case of stationary objects of atmospheric air pollution located on the territory of the Autonomous Republics of Abkhazia and Adjara, the relevant services of environmental protection and natural resources of the Autonomous Republics of Abkhazia and Adjara.

The National Environment Agency and the respective services of environmental protection and natural resources of the Autonomous Republics of Abkhazia and Adjara shall make a decision on the confirmation of the submitted forms of state registration of the release of harmful substances no later than April 1.

The filling out of the form for the state registration of the release of harmful substances is carried out electronically by all stationary objects of ambient air pollution, except for those carrying out the activities specified in Article 41 of Resolution #413 of the Government of Georgia of December 31, 2013 "On the approval of the technical regulations for the self-monitoring and reporting of the release of harmful substances from stationary sources of pollution."
