World Wetlands Day

EIEC hosted an informational meeting with the Academy of Business and Technology students as part of the World Wetlands Day.

The meeting was opened by the center's director, Tamar Aladashvili, who informed the youngsters about the value of wetlands.

Nata Sultanishvili, Head of the Planning and Development Service of Protected Areas, gave a lecture to the students about wetlands and discussed the role of wetlands in climate mitigation processes and maintaining the quantity and quality of fresh water.
