Within the ‘Earth Hour’’ informational meetings were held

The informational meetings within the public environmental campaign‘’Earth Hour’’ were held for students in Mtskheta Municipality School. The event was organised by EIEC. Students were informed on the development of life on earth.

Within the Earth Hour’’ was also held the webinar, attended by students from several Municipalities. Students discussed the impacts of climate change, both locally ( in Georgia) and globally, and the issues of mitigating and dealing with these impacts. 

On March 25, Georgia officially joined in celebrating the environmental campaign' ‘Earth Hour." On this day, millions of people refuse to use electric energy for one hour.

"Earth Hour" is oriented to take particular actions regarding climate change for protecting forests and ecosystems.
