The vocational training programme "Forest Inventory and Taxation" begins!

The programme is free of charge and open to those with a bachelor's degree in forestry and/or a related field.

The training process begins on April 26 and includes both theoretical and practical parts.


After successful completion, graduates will receive a state-recognized certificate and be employed at the National Forestry Agency.

The goal of the programme is to train forest taxing specialists (forest taxation) who will carry out forest inventory fieldwork and, after the course, will be able to:

• Conducting measurement and evaluation work in the forest
• Data collection, processing, presentation, and analysis in an electronic programme
• Take part in the planning of forestry activities (forest use, forest maintenance, forest restoration, etc.) and the preparation of forest management plans.

The stages of forest inventory include working with cartographic materials, collecting data on quantitative and qualitative indicators of the forest in field conditions, analysing and camera proceeding. appointing forestry measures, and creating documentation, including the final product of the inventory, a forest management plan.

"Forest Inventory and Taxation" is carried out by the EIEC in cooperation with the National Forestry Agency and with the support of the Professional Skills Agency.
