The meeting with the representatives of the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Center

Martish Zimmerman, the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia, met with Tamar Aladashvili, the Director of EIEC under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, and Lasha Inauri, the head of the Ministry's International Relations and European Integration Department.

The Georgian delegates provided the Latvian representatives with full details on activities that improve farmers' opportunities and provide support for agricultural education.

At the meeting the parties discussed opportunities to share their experience. As was mentioned, the Latvian rural advisory learning centre is involved in EU initiatives and projects. The Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Center expressed its desire to actively cooperate with Georgia in this direction.
