The Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, in collaboration with the EIEC and with funding from the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and the United Kingdom, prepared the "Green Book" of the Georgia Climate Change Law. The "Green Book"'s aim is to start a widespread public conversation and consultation for the development of Georgia's Climate Change Law. It will clarify many problems that can be taken into account in the proposed Climate Change Law.
The "Green Book" of the Climate Change Law covers Georgia's obligations to other countries, its current national policy, an analysis of how climate change could impact Georgia, potential hazards, and international examples of climate law.
