The study on the assessment of environmental education and awareness at the national level was held for the first time in 2022. The object of the study was to provide trustworthy analytical and statistical data to the nongovernmental and governmental sectors regarding environmental awareness and education. As the basis of the study, the development of several targeted programs will be implemented.

It is worth mentioning that within the scope of the study, the majority of the population (59%) expressed a desire to deepen their knowledge and awareness about environmental issues.
