The training on controlling road vehicle emissions

Kakha Kakabadze the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia had a meeting with the Department of Environmental Supervision regarding controlling vehicle emissions on the roads.

The inspectors and employees of the Department of Environmental Supervision will control vehicle emissions on the roads after September 4. The control of harmful substances in vehicle emissions will be done in Georgia's four big cities: Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, and Rustavi.

Regarding the control of vehicle emissions on the roads, the Department of Environmental Supervision employees were retrained in several fields such as legislative changes, technical equipment, electronic systems, and effective communication.

The training was conducted by organizing the EIEC, with the involvement of the Department of Environmental Supervision, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and "The Education and Examination Center - PTE" LLC.

The meeting was attended by Tamar Aladashvili, the Director of the EIEC, and Levan Jgarkava, the Director of the Department of Environmental Supervision.
