At the Environmental Information and Education Centre, a working session was held with the delegation from Uzbekistan

The director of EIEC Tamar Aladashvili, met with representatives of the State Ecological Expertise Department of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The representatives of the EIEC informed the guests about centre activities, the involvement of society in the decision-making process, ways of implementing access to justice, and disseminating environmental knowledge.

The new function of the facility, which allows for the organization of public hearings, was thoroughly discussed during the conference. The parties created future plans for experience sharing and collaboration with regard to the specified.

The delegation from Uzbekistan learned about the goals, organizational structure, and departments under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
