"We are actively working in the country in terms of promoting environmental and agricultural education and raising the qualifications of teachers in this direction. Since 2017, the Centre for Environmental Information and Education has been participating in the "Teacher's National Award" event and, on behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, presents the "Green Award" to the teacher who has implemented important environmental activities. I am glad that this year, for the seventh time, we have the opportunity to be co-participants and partners in the National Teacher's Award,", said Tamar Aladashvili.

Every year on October 5, International Teachers Day, the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science hosts the "Teacher's National Award" contest.
