An idea contest for sustainable forest management begins

If you love nature, if you want to be more involved in forest management processes, and if you want to contribute more to the wise and fair use of forests and forest resources, then this contest is for you!

The contest of project ideas on topics of sustainable forest management is an initiative of the project ECO. Georgia. ECO.Georgia is a project to support the implementation of the reform of the forestry sector in Georgia, which is financed by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and Georgia and implemented by the government.

The primary requirements of the contest for sustainable forest management concepts are that they should not be of a commercial nature and should aim to establish or enhance the public benefit related to the specified subject.

The deadline for receiving applications is November 30.
