The validity period of the technical report on the stationary sources of air pollution and the inventory of harmful substances emitted by them is changing

According to the amendment made to the Resolution of the Government of Georgia No. 42 of October 26, 2021 on October 26, 2021, on the approval of the technical regulation on inventory of stationary air pollution inventories on October 26, 2014. Accordingly, it has been agreed with the competent authority that after November 1, 2016, it does not require a re-agreement and is valid for life (except for the cases provided for in Article 4, Paragraph 7 of the "Technical Regulation on Inventory of Stationary Air Pollution").

A re-agreement with the Ministry of Inventory Technical Report shall be binding upon the implementation of the following changes related to the stationary facility of atmospheric air pollution, as stated in Article 4 (7) of the Technical Regulation on the Inventory of Stationary Sources of Atmospheric Air Pollution: 

* Change location;
* Change power and / or profile;
* Increase the amount of fuel consumed;
* Change the type of existing fuel;
* Use of new types of additional fuel;
During the reconstruction, new sources of harmful substance emission and emission in the technological process, as well as switching on air-tightening devices and/or changing other existing parameters,

In these scenarios, the previously agreed-upon inventory technical report will be annulled, and it will need to be reprocessed and agreed upon with Georgia's Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, taking into account the current circumstances.

According to the amendment, in the case of alienation or transfer of a stationary facility, the entity is obliged to submit the documents certifying the alienation or transfer of the station along with the application to the Ministry of Environmental  Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
