We are pleased to share with you the White Book on the Climate Change Law of Georgia, a consultation document created with assistance from the Environment and Natural Resources Committee, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), and the United Kingdom.
The primary guidelines that the Georgia Climate Change Law ought to follow are listed in the White Book on Climate Change Law. The white book's objective is to carry on the extensive public consultation and discussion process for the creation of Georgia's Climate Change Law. The committee, in collaboration with the EIEC, will oversee this procedure.
National consultations regarding the White Book will be held in Gori, Batumi, and Tbilisi.
On the basis of the opinions received and the national consultations held, the law of Georgia on climate change will be developed.
Please send us your opinions on the issues presented in the White Book by December 11, 2023, to the following e-mail address: info@eiec.gov.ge.
