The training courses were organised by EIEC, and Rural Development Agency, and the Georgian Beekeepers Union.
Tamar Aladashvili, the principal of EIEC, met the retrained beekeepers.
„The retraining of the beekeepers was conducted with the coordination of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. To promote the development of the field and to strengthen the capacity of the beekeepers, training consisted of four stages: During the retraining, the farmers became acquainted with traditional and modern methods. Attention was drawn to the issues regarding the support of honey quality improvement and the development of entrepreneurial activities among farmers, fighting diseases, and introducing modern methods in the field“, said Tamar Aladashvili.
The training courses were attended by beekeepers from different regions of the country, and the learning courses were conducted by field specialists.
