Registration for the vocational program ‘’ Environmental Manager’’ begins

In the program, participants can be persons who are interested in learning in detail the responsibilities written according to the Waste Management Code of an environmental manager and acquiring the necessary skills.

employed individuals and legal entities working in companies and enterprises that generate different waste and are obliged to develop and implement waste management plans.

Program fee: 700 GEL.
Registration is available by December 21 at the website: https://vet.emis.ge/#/training-programs
The learning process begins on February 5 at the following address: Tbilisi, Marshal Gelovani Avenue N32g.

The program covers both theoretical and practical parts, and after successful accomplishment, the graduates will receive a certificate recognized by the state.

Training environmental managers who will carry out the Waste Management Code requirements, inspection processes, and law enforcement is the program's main goal.

After completing the environmental manager course, participants will be able to: prepare and update the company's waste management plan; classify waste; work in the electronic waste management system; implement and organize the company's waste management plan; self-monitoring; and internal control of the company.

The ''environmental manager'' program is implemented by EIEC and lasts 4 weeks.

• Ekaterine Kiskeidze, Head of the Industrial Emission and Waste Control Division Environmental Supervision Department.
• Konstantine Khachapuridze, independent expert
• Kristine Vardanashvili - -Head of the Waste and Chemicals Management Department of Waste and Chemical Substances Management of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. 
• Tamar Tshekladze, senior specialist in the extended producer responsibility obligations in the waste and chemical substances management department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
