The training session covered sharing best practices from the modern refrigeration and air conditioning industries as well as using an electronic system for the management of substances governed by the Montreal Protocol. The training program's objective is to prepare skilled workers for the heat pump, air conditioning, and refrigeration sectors.
The National Ozone Unit, the EIEC of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the United Nations Development Program all provided support for the training. The training course was developed and implemented in collaboration with the Technical University of Georgia and the Association of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Equipment and Air Conditioning Engineers.
