This project is for you if you have an interest in environmental topics, are an enthusiastic student, engage in environmental activities, or want to expand your knowledge in this area. You will be able to learn about contemporary and fascinating environmental challenges on both an academic and practical level at the School of Ecoleaders. Students can take part in the School of Ecoleaders in grades IX–XII.
Participants will be selected based on their application and interview.
Please take note that meetings will be held remotely via the Zoom platform every Monday and Wednesday in April and May from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Outing activities are planned for June.
Within the program, you will learn about the following topics:
● Sustainable Development Goals
● Ecological human rights
● Importance of waste management and existing best practices
● Bees: their importance and care
● Importance of biodiversity and protection mechanisms
● Importance of protected areas
● Urban biodiversity and eco-activism
● Birds and their role in the environment
● Gender and environmental protection
● Climate change
● Sustainable forest management
● The role of environmental education and public relations in environmental protection
● submitting a presentation
It should be noted that those who consistently attend lectures will be the only ones awarded Ecoleader rank. There will only be two honorable absences.
