The event ‘’Earth Hour’’ is being celebrated on March 23, 2024. The objective of the day is to inform society and raise awareness.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia is traditionally joining the global environmental campaign, considering refusing to use electricity for one hour and trying to make efforts to involve a maximum number of members of society in the process.
This year, the Earth Hour event aims to unite as many people as possible to protect the planet.
Within ‘’Earth Hour'', a lecture was held for ‘’European School’’ students. The lecture was organized by the EIEC, and Tamar Aladashvili, the director of the EIEC, discussed the significance of environmental concerns. Students learned about the climate change importance and the ‘Earth Hour’’ event.
