To promote the development of the agricultural and innovative system (AKIS), working meetings have been held in the Imereti region

The agricultural knowledge and innovative system submits the mechanism that provides accessibility to knowledge and innovations for people interested in agriculture issues.

The objective of the meetings was to share information, identify the requirements for the implementation of micro (regional) AKIS, which covers the identification of stakeholders in the region, and develop recommendation documents for micro AKIS.

The representatives of the educational, private, and non-governmental sectors, rural development agencies, and municipalities attended the meeting.

The meeting was held within the project‘’ Modernization of Vocational Education System in Georgian Agriculture VET( stage 3). The project is implemented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and is supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The meeting was organized by the EIEC.
