celebrating Earth Day with students

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 to bring people together and spread environmental awareness to promote a healthy environment.

Every year, Earth Day draws attention to important environmental challenges. This year, the theme of Earth Day is "Planet VS Plastic" and encourages the public to reduce the use of plastics.

To discuss the significance of environmental concerns, the EIEC of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, prepared a lecture for students titled "History of the Earth: From the Protoplanet to the Blue Planet" as part of "Earth Day." The Tbilisi N137 students learned about the contemporary issues facing the blue planet as well as the evolution of the globe across time.

The first "Earth Day" took place in the United States on April 22, 1970, when citizens started to demonstrate against air pollution brought on by careless industries and inefficient cars.
